On the verge...

I think I need to change my blog format. This one deletes the formatting I put in. It's rather annoying. (Talk about a first world problem, eh?) Monday my baby starts preschool. She's ready. She's eager. She can't WAIT...and in fact she told me that I could just leave her there the WHOLE day. (I think not!) We went to the open house on Thursday and...well...let's just say their style of worship is somewhat more dated than we're used to. This preschool is Lutheran, and, while the church I grew up in was similar, this place is sort of in a time warp. I didn't even know the songs they were singing. The kids did, and seemed to have fun with it - but I will admit I like worship at my church (even in kids church) MUCH better. It was entertaining when the director of children's ministry did a little skit for them where he was carrying around all this heavy sin in his backpack, and how he could lay that at Jesus's feet, and Jesus covered it all, and I was like....dude...they're 3 and 4-year-olds...they kind of don't even really get SIN, let alone the concept you're teaching! But he tried. So there's that. Tomorrow we get fish. I am excited. And a little worried we'll kill them and this whole entire thing will have just been a crazy idea. Meh...that's all I have tonight.
