The plague has landed. Hubby and I have both been sidelined by...something...
I'm not sure it's the flu per se - it started with a scratchy, sore throat, head congestion, and...well....we both just feel like we've been hit by a truck. We had been doing really well at avoiding any sort of cold/flu bug, until this - and we both had it within an hour of each other. It wasn't too bad until this morning, when neither of us wanted to move - but kids had to get to school, AND, a particular 3-year-old still needed to be parented! Z took the first shift, but now he's passed out and *I* am up with our little. All I can say is - Thank you God that she loves her preschool games, because I am not sure I would be up to being a human jungle gym or running around today! I guess on the bright side, all of this happened yesterday, rather than earlier last week when my Texas family was in town, with new baby Anna. I would have been highly bummed to not be able to hold her.
I love this pic of my mom holding Anna. (And...I just love family time. As much of a pain as some of my family can be, I love them.)
