Apparently menu planning makes me feel rather domestic. I got up this morning and made fresh cranberry orange muffins - which have become just about my favorite muffin lately. We have an extra kiddo today who gets up bright and early, so I sit here with my coffee, the crumbs of my muffin, and I get to enjoy the morning! (I would say I get to enjoy my morning of peace and quiet, but with these 3-year-olds, that only ever lasts about 3 minutes or so!)
Most of my family is up at church preparing for tomorrow's pasta feed, but we decided that trying to keep 2 three-year-olds entertained up there, with everyone else who will be in the kitchen working, was going to be a bit much. So I am at home with the littles, while the 'bigs' work up at church. Should be awesome.
Hoping everything at church goes fairly quickly. I am looking forward to relaxing at home tonight with a big fire in the fireplace, the kids all home, and maybe....just maybe...some wine.
